One to One Fitness Coaching/Personal training is all about helping you get the results that you want in the most time-efficient, safe and effective manor, whilst having some fun along the way.
There will be some hard work but it doesn't have to be dull!
That means using a mix of tried and trusted strategies (that really work), whilst incorporating the latest up to date training tools and protocols.
I'll help you in any way I can to get you to your chosen destination, whether that be your first 6 pack, getting fitter for a marathon, adding half a stone of muscle or removing a stone of fat!
A truly holistic approach is often the best way to achieve. So I'll help out with rest and regeneration, food diaries, planning exercise into your week, or anything else that can get you there.
The whole thing starts with the first consultation, a chance for us to get to know each other and chat about the next steps and for you to ask as many questions as you'd like. I like people to ask how and why. We'll talk about goals and your exercise history to give me some clues about where to take you next.
The second part of the first consultation will involve a few non-invasive tests to give me some baseline info to work from (I won't be pinching skin folds with callipers or anything nasty like that). The tests will include a functional movement screen which will give me a good snapshot of how well you move, enabling me to get your programme right from day 1.
From there I can write your first programme and we can get you started! All quick and easy to do.
You will be re-tested to make sure you are on the right track and stay there. You will also be re-programmed as your body adapts to the training.
The bottom line is we want you to be fit, happy and healthy.
